Yarn is indeed the product that most people associate with alpaca fiber.

Yarn is spun from the best fiber from the animal.

We have several options for spinning yarn.

1. Economy 

If you have over 10 kg per color, we can spin yarn from unwashed fiber. You will receive it back on cones weighing between 1 and 2 kg. You can then make skeins in the desired weight. After that, the yarn must be washed well. The yarn is a decent yarn. Choose between 2 or 3 threads. The biggest disadvantage of the yarn is that it does not have a uniform thickness. But the price is also favorable and you can contribute with your own effort.

The price per kg of finished yarn is Kr 500,- + VAT

 

2. Norwegian alpaca yarn

We buy your fiber. We make yarn and other products from it. We only use Norwegian fiber for this yarn. The goal is that eventually we can deliver this yarn at the same time as we collect fiber. We want both naturally colored and dyed yarn. The biggest "disadvantage" here is that it is not fiber from just your animals, but that it is mixed with other Norwegian fiber. The advantage is a cost-effective yarn with a short delivery time. And that you can choose colors.

The price for this yarn is Kr 850,- per kg + VAT

 

3. Yarn from your own animals

Your fiber is kept separate and you get back yarn from your own animals. We can spin both 2 and 3 ply. And you can get it in 50 or 100 g skeins. The biggest disadvantages are price and delivery time. The price starts at Kr 990,- + VAT. and delivery time must be considered in each case.
